When: every Sunday morning (on Zoom) from 9:15 - 10:45 am
This group is currently filled to capacity with an active attendance of about a dozen women. They report lively discussion on a range of life-oriented topics as well as deeper dives into reflection and sharing on a thoughtful, personal level. Thank you to Kelly for leading such a nurturing group.
When: Every Thursday evening from 6:30 - 8:00 pm
Where: Currently meets via Zoom, but looking at adding in-person at the Chapel
This small group has been meeting almost weekly for years, but welcomes newcomers. Before the pandemic, this group met in women's homes and included socializing over refreshments afterwards for anyone available. During the pandemic, meetings have been primarily over Zoom, but occasionally in-person for special activities. As more women get vaccinated against Covid-19, and restrictions for gatherings are softened, the group plans to meet at the Chapel in the gazebo. They also plan to offer an on-line option for those who cannot join in-person. Thank you to Elise for her excellent work in organizing and facilitating this important and meaningful small group activity.
Programs and Events
Like many churches, during the pandemic we have cut back on our in-person activities. However, we are optimistic that we will return to these connection and community-oriented offerings soon!
When: Before the pandemic, we held delicious weekly luncheons after every Sunday church service
Where: Friendship Hall
Breaking bread together is one of the best times for building happy communities. Our luncheons have been a staple in our social diet for many years. We look forward to resuming these delicious times together soon!
