Practice love, even when it’s not easy

The text and workbook for this year's Journey of Spiritual Growth

The text and workbook for this year’s Journey of Spiritual Growth

Jan. 28 – March 4, 2018

Authentic forgiveness stems from a deep faith that we are enough, that love is abundant, and that even though we have been wronged, we don’t have to spend our emotional energy trying to get that “debt” paid back to us. This kind of trust doesn’t come easily! It takes practice to train our minds to learn to let go of what’s not important, so we can make room for things that really matter.

Join us for PRACTICING FORGIVENESS starting January 28, 2018

Sunrise Chapel will launch a six-week program on Practicing Forgiveness on Sunday, January 28. The program consists of weekly Sunday worship services and the opportunity to join a small group for a weekly meeting. If you are interested in joining or leading a small group, please let pastor Nathan or his wife, Elise know.

Annual “Journey” Spiritual Growth Programs

We run a variety of spiritual growth programs designed to serve people who want to take a meaningful and positive step in personal and spiritual growth. Each is interactive, and creates opportunities for individual study, building friendships, finding support, and becoming more connected. There are typically three core components: individual study, small group participation, and Sunday worship. The purpose of the programs is to help people make progress on their journey in the context of a supportive and welcoming environment. You can participate at whatever level you prefer, absorbing new ideas through listening and reading, or contributing your own thoughts and reflections during discussion times.
