Presenting

JOSEPH - Living a Spiritual Life

A Bible story so dramatic and tension filled that Andrew Lloyd Webber made a musical out of it. The story of Joseph is filled with hidden spiritual meaning about the path of spiritual growth which is rebirth.

Pine Canyon Camp is in the heart of the Chiricahua Mountains, at a cool 6500 feet elevation. It is just a half hour from the Chiricahua National Monument. The Chiricahua Mountains are full of great hiking, and incredible scenery. Pine Canyon Camp, a Methodist run camp, is in the middle of a major overhaul, with new camp directors and a totally rebuilt main lodge.

Highlights of the camp include:

Comfortable accommodations, great food, and wonderful hospitality, all in a magnificent mountain setting.

A newly refurbished lodge offers private and semi-private bedrooms and meeting space to accommodate about 30 persons. The lodge has central heat and air and will be handicapped accessible.

For those who want “camp to be camp”, the cabins offer more rustic accommodations. They have 11 cabins that sleep a total of 106 persons. Guests in cabins are served by central bathhouses with flush toilets showers and running water.

Pine Canyon staff prepare, and serve all meals.

Pine Canyon Camp runs and staffs a couple of group activities. One of these is a low elements challenge course which teaches teamwork and problem solving to those age twelve and up. Their staff also offers and supervises an archery course.

The camp has a ball field, a full basketball/volleyball court, a great craft building, a camp store, and an outdoor amphitheater and fire pit which can be used for a variety of activities. There are a number of places, both indoor and outdoor to hold small groups and worship.
